Cherry Jones cuddles the kitty who
recently took up residence at her
home in Paris.
President Allison Taylor has already
been rescued once this season in the
TV drama "24", but last week she was
the one doing the rescuing. This
grey and white kitten took up with
her at home in Paris, TN, however he
is not destined to live in the White
House. "I named him Bauer, after
Keifer Sutherland's character in
"24" because he turned up right
after episode 14, when Jack Bauer
rescued my character."
Because her family already has two
cats and Jones travels so
frequently, she made the decision to
find a new home for the playful
kitten who appears to be about 5-6
months old. "He's a lot more cuddly
than Keifer's character," she said,
"but like Jack, he's comfortable
indoors or out and always seems to
land on his feet." According to
Jones, Bauer plays well with people
and other cats and uses his litter
box. He appears very healthy,
however he has not been to the vet.
For more information on adopting
Bauer, email Jones' sister at sjones@myparismagazine.com.

UPDATED April 5, 2009
Great news! Little Bauer
the "24" kitty was adopted by Joe
Hedges of Murray, KY. Joe is teaches
journalism at MSU and is the perfect
dad for little Bauer. On his way
back to Murray, Joe stopped for some
kitty litter and Bauer began to
shake his pet taxi. By the time Joe
returned to the car, Bauer had
escaped from the pet carrier and was
sitting up on the seat.....very Jack
